What is Ruach?
Ruach (ROO-ahk) is an ancient word meaning wind, breath, or spirit. In the Bible, it refers to the Holy Spirit–the very presence of God active in the world. Here's a video* that explains this concept better than we could.

The Team
Matthew
Matthew Herman is a senior studying videography and audio production at NKU. He co-founded Perspective Media House with his brother in 2019, where he has produced marketing video content for over 45 small businesses. He launched Studio Ruach in May 2025, where he releases original music and partners with his friends on various projects.As a Christian, Matthew's faith quietly shapes his sound. He released his first single in October 2023, an ambient downtempo track called One Road. This was followed by Wounds, a collaboration with hip-hop artist Andrew Seun from his piano album, SEASONS I. While he contributed to some unreleased orchestral projects, Matt was dissatisfied with the genre and started listening to EDM. In early 2026, he announced that he was cancelling SEASONS II and launched a producer alias, RUACH, to focus on refining his EDM sound. His goal remains the same: to share honest music that connects with his listeners in a meaningful way.
